REMEMBERING THOSE WHO HAVE Sacrificed

Our Annual Service Project

Our Annual Service Project

Every Memorial Day, we want to honor those who have protected our freedoms. During these uniquely difficult times, it is important to remember the brave men and women who have helped make this country so beautifully resilient.

Our project is simple: we, along with anyone who would like to volunteer, place flags next to the headstone of each veteran in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Cemetery. On Memorial Day, families and friends visit the cemetery to remember their loved ones– and see thousands of flags posted, representing a small gesture of our heartfelt gratitude.

Freedom meant the world to these veterans. I know many of us have family members who have sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we enjoy. Every year, we hope to show that their sacrifice still means the world to us, even when times are tough in our country.

We had a great time setting these flags up for Memorial Day 2020, and we’re excited to do the same in 2021!

If you’re interested in helping with our next Flag Placing (in May 2021), you can RSVP below.
